This is one of the most sought after Limited Edition puzzles out there and a rare opportunity to pick one up, these don’t come available for sale too often as there were only 50 made and it’s sold out. While at Stave, Andrea Farnham was known for her amazing puzzle designs with all sorts of twists and turns. This puzzle is sold out and, with only 50 copies made, a rare chance to own one of the last ones made (plus it was cut by Andrea). It looks to be hand painted as well, we think all Treasure Islands were.
This has some very interesting tricks to solve and some other fun little twists and turns.
We don’t want to give away too much via the description or pictures, so if you’d like to see it sort of solved without the Trick solution before purchasing please let us know.
Bonus: Comes in Stave wood box that has the Stave logo inlaid in the lid. (The box costs $625 alone when bought from Stave.)
Includes a treasure map and neat treasure chest that you have to figure out how to open (that is all we are saying).
Very good condition. 4 personal pieces (3 initials, 1 date). Unfortunately, there are a few somewhat minor condition issues with the puzzle. The main one is there are about 20 pieces that have some discoloration and are a little rough to the touch (see picture). The original owner does not know what may have caused this, so there is no known damage that can be recalled. There is one 1 piece with a little bit of the paper layer rubbed off (see pic) and some general wear on the pieces as is common with Trick puzzles that require a lot of trial and error. The label also is a little damaged due to a piece of tape covering it and the top of the lid has some spots. We did notice some pieces were a snug fit, mostly noticeable when taking the puzzle apart.
