Par | “The Wait for the Package from Par”

$1,695.00

~769 Total pcs
~18 Silhouettes
~24 1/4 x 15 1/4″

One of the best titles for a Par we have come across, it really sums it up. Bright colors, some very unusual patterns and Par’s trademark line cuts made for a really enjoyable puzzle. Just hard enough and with enough details in the image, this is a real classic you’ll want to add to your collection. The original is called “Window Plants” (1945) and is part of the Tate’s collection (If you’d like to get it restored, we can refer you to someone that can help!)
Artist: John Nash (1893-1977)

In good condition. Is showing some signs of wear, but overall in good shape. About 10 knobs have some relatively minor chips and back has a few more with one piece missing about 1/2 of the bottom layer (see pics). Only major issue is the tip of 1 piece is broken (see pic).

How We Rate the Condition of Puzzles

We do our best to describe the condition of the puzzles.  It is a little challenging as everyone has their own standards.  We suggest you rely on the closeup photos and feel free to ask questions if you have any.  That being said, generally this is what our various ratings mean:

Excellent – Looks as close to new as a brand new puzzle can.  There might be very slight amount of wear on a very small number of pieces, but almost impossible to see without close inspection.

Very Good – Puzzles in this category have probably only been done a few times and show almost no signs of wear.  Maybe a small number of pieces that stand out as having a little uplifting or other issues.

Good – Puzzle has been done a few times and there may be a number of pieces showing wear on their edges.   The wood is in good structural condition, it’s mostly cosmetic issues with the paper layer being worn.

Fair – Starting to see some problems with the puzzles.  Worn pieces, possibly a chip or two, that sort of thing.  Read the description and look at the pictures to see exact issues.  This also may include puzzles that are missing a piece, but otherwise in good condition.

Poor – In need of major restoration, may be missing pieces, lots of chipped pieces or major condition issues to the paper layer.

We do take into consideration the condition of the boxes, but most will have at least a tiny amount of wear since when they are shipped the corners can get worn down.  Anything significant will be noted in the description.
