Box lid has a date of 1931.
Image by Zula Kenyon (1873-1947). She was a very well known artist in her day, born in Wisconsin, she became well known for painting many traditional subjects such as portraits, landscapes and animals. This puzzle has a very interesting cut where the knows are a lot of very jagged edges. We have not seen this style on a Pastime before and has a very rudimentary feel of a Par’s cut in some ways.
Possible is fair condition. There are about 15-20 knobs with varying issues. A few are broken off (4-5) and the rest are chipped or have a little damage. Overall, given the size of the puzzle, the chips aren’t as prevalent as on smaller puzzles. Box is in pretty poor shape taped/damaged lid and base is a so-so.
