Stave Puzzles | “Treasure Island” | Limited Edition – Trick *Read Notes* *SOLD*
~686 Total Pieces
17 Silhouettes
Limited Edition
Trick
2010
~15″ x 15″
LE #48/50
This is one of the most sought after Limited Edition puzzles out there. While at Stave, Andra Farnham was known for her amazing puzzle designs with all sorts of twists and turns. This puzzle is sold out and, with only 50 copies made, a rare chance to own one of the last ones made (plus it was cut by Andrea). It looks to be hand painted as well, we think all Treasure Islands were.
This has some very interesting tricks to solve and some other fun little twists and turns.
We don’t want to give away too much via the description or pictures, so if you’d like to see it sort of solved without the Trick solution before purchasing please let us know. We are pretty sure this is sold out.
Bonus: Comes in Stave wood box that has the Stave logo inlaid in the lid. (The box costs $345 alone when bought from Stave.)
NOTE: Unfortunately, this is missing the treasure chest. The goal of the puzzle is to ID a key which opens the treasure chest and has a message inside of it. This has zero impact on the puzzle or solving it, you just won’t read the message on the paper (which we can tell you what it is if you’d like).
Some of the pieces do have a little wear, as it not unusual for Trick puzzles that have been worked. Look at the pic of the closeup of the leaves to get an idea, just a little uplifting on piece edges. The label is a little scuffed (see pic). No personal pieces.
Request to be notified if we get another copy in as well as add your name to our our Secret Sale List
