One of the most amazing Pars we have come across. From our research, seems to be from a Netherlands based circus poster from the 50s. (The poster itself is a collector’s item.) This was a very challenging puzzle due to the size and colors, but a great one. The line cuts and other cutting techniques (including some nice dropouts for initials) made for some great puzzling evenings. Don’t miss out on the chance to own one of the largest Pars we have come across.
In great condition. The colors are bright and very little wear on the pieces and the knobs are in nice shape. There was a restoration that took place about 10 years ago that notes 2 pieces replaced and 4 repaired. We found a few that we took pictures of, the others we didn’t notice. Box is in good condition, with a little wear on the edges and corners of the lid. There is some writing on the inside lid noting condition as well as the business card of the restorer taped inside. The side label has a small white rabbit sticker placed over the Par logo and a couple drops of paint or something (see pic).
