This is the 2nd or 3rd time we have done a Par with this image and enjoy each time. We tried to research it and it appears to be of St. Thomas More and his refusal to sign the Act of Succession. However, we could not 100% verify this picture depicts that event and who the artist is, so still remains a bit of a mystery.
Condition: In very good condition. The colors are bright & pieces are snug. Only issue we observed is there are about 10-12 pieces that have chipped knobs (see pics for examples). Box in very nice shape, writing on side label.
