A chance to own another great puzzle from the Lilly Collection. This one unusual for 2 reasons. First, it is a mini-puzzle, which we don’t see too often. These were puzzles Stave sold that were had smaller pieces than the traditional size. Probably about 1/2 the size or so of standard pieces. Second, which we have never seen on a mini that we can recall, is it is a fantasy cut. Fantasy cuts are not very common and are identified by a lot of the knobs in a arrow like shape. They are fun to do. With regards to the image, a great winter scene that is no walk in the park to solve.

This puzzle does have condition issues we have tried to detail as best we can, and priced accordingly. 5 personal pieces (4 names, 1 initial)
1) The puzzle did have some pieces that were delaminating, we repaired all that we could find. Based on a note inside the lid, it looks like this may be an early problem. It seems to be from when you pull the pieces apart in the wrong direction the top layer will get loose, so need to be careful when taking apart. 2) 1 piece is missing a little of the top layer (see pic) 3) Several pieces were professionally restored. 4) The tissue has been replaced 5) The lid has what looks like caked on dirt specks in a few pieces. It looks like it had been taped closed at one point and the dirt seems to have accumulated where the stick part of the tape was as well as a few other places, although not 100% it’s dirt, hard to tell.
