This is quite an interesting image. Before we get to that, let’s talk about how rare this particular puzzle is. It’s from 1977 (in case you were wondering Stave started in 1974). This is one of the earliest Staves we have come across in the nearly 15 years we have been in business. You are literally looking at a piece (pun intended) of Stave history. This particular puzzle was cut by Carol Fisk, one of the first employees of Stave. Beyond that, it’s gorgeous. The image itself is very unusual – if you look closely you’ll see what we mean. Unfortunately, we were unable to find the name of the artist, but it’s a real treasure.
