CONDITION ISSUES Priced Accordingly

If you have some of your own patience this “Restoration Special” is for you. First, we have not attempted to complete this puzzle, the picture was from one enclosed in the box and does have 1 piece missing in the picture. The major issue is there are 50 pieces that have delaminated (plywood layer separating). There is a chance more could separate, but we pulled out all the ones we found and put in bags. The good news, if you can call it that, is that whatever caused the delamination is only impacting the top layer with the image on it. We have seen other puzzles where all layers are delaminating, probably due to a defect in the glue used. On top of that, while we didn’t match up the top pieces to the bottom layers, there are 50 of each, so there is a good chance they are all there. It does take time to glue these back and make sure they fit, but, again, a good project if you are up for it! (We can also provide you the name of a great puzzle restorer who can replace the missing piece(s) and probably help with the delamination.)

Condition issues noted above, probably missing at least 1 piece. Potential for more pieces delaminating. Appears some pieces may have been previously glued back together, but not 100% sure on that.
