Despite the fact this looks like a religious painting from the middle ages, it is actually from a travel poster for British Rail form the 1950s to encourage people to visit York. A challenging puzzle that has some interesting cuts throughout the puzzle. A nice combination of challenging on some of the areas of the puzzle to a real treat on others as you work the more colorful areas. A fairly large Par, which are not as common to come across, especially getting close to 1200 pieces. This is probably not the right title for the puzzle (see note below).
Artist: Edward Bawden
Excellent condition. Small chip on 1 knob. NOTE: The label appears to be the wrong label, the piece count is quite a big higher than the number on the label and the title does not make sense.
